Carolina Roque

Master in Criminology from the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto (FDUP), focusing on the area of cybercrime, cybersecurity and empirical testing of criminological theories. She recently published the chapter “Hacking: Evolution, Conceptualization, and the Perpetrators”, by IGI Global, where he portrays the theoretical foundation of hacking, the profile of the offender and their typologies. She is a member of the International Association of Portuguese Language Criminology (AICLP), has written articles on cybercriminal behavior and has been a speaker at several national and international conferences, such as C-Days and Hacktivity – IT Security Festival.

Luís Borges Gouveia

Member of the Board of Directors of the Northern Delegation of APDSI (NGO that promotes the discussion of digital, its impact on policies on how to promote a society more capable of dealing with the use and exploration of digital). Full Professor at Fernando Pessoa University, Integrated Member and currently coordinator of the Information, Communication and Digital Culture group at CITCEM, University of Porto.

Silvana Oliveira

Holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto (FDUP) and a Master's degree in Legal Medicine from the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Porto (ICBAS), she specialized in Cybersecurity in 2021 at the National Academy of Cybersecurity (ANCIBER). Currently, she works as a Cybersecurity Analyst at CyberS3c, where she also is part of the Red Team. Additionally, she is a trainer at the National Academy of Cybersecurity and a guest lecturer in postgraduate programs at the Lusófona Information Systems School (LISS) and Técnico+. A cybersecurity expert for the World Bank in the African continent, she has been a member of Women4Cyber Portugal since 2021.
