Nicolas Sklavos (Greece)

Dr. Nicolas Sklavos is Associate Professor, with Computer Engineering & Informatics Department (CEID), Polytechnic School, University of Patras, Hellas (Greece). He is Director of SCYTALE Group. His research interests include Cryptographic Engineering, Hardware Security, and Cyber Security. He has participated to a number of European & National, Research and Development Projects. He is Evaluator/Reviewer of project calls, funded by the European Commission, or National Resources. He has participated to the organization of international scientific conferences, of IEEE/ACM/IFIP, serving several committee duties, as well as Editorial Board Member of several Scientific Journals. He has authored technical papers, books, chapters, reports etc, in the areas of his research. He has been also Keynote/Invited Speaker for conferences, forums, summer schools etc. His publications have received a great number of citations, in scientific and technical literature. He is Senior Member of IEEE, Associated Member of HiPEAC, and Member of IACR.

Nuno Nunes

Enthusiastic, passionate and curious for New Technologies of Information, I have started my professional career with 18 years old as a computer technician. Gradually my passion and dedication increased, and I naturally found myself seeking to thrive for my graduation while working in the business - my determination was always strong, firm, unshakable. In the last couple of years, I have started focusing my efforts on Cybersecurity and I have started and successfully concluded my specialization on this area in 2020. I am graduated in Computer Engineer by Escola Superior de Tecnologia e Gestão at Instituto Politécnico do Porto. Furthermore, I have finalized a especialization in Cybersecurity by Academia Nacional de CiberSegurança in Portugal.
It's also relevant to emphasize that, since March 2019 I took the job of Systems Information Support Manager at Lactogal, Produtos Alimentares, S.A.. Where I have worked as Network and Systems Engineer since July 2016.
Nevertheless, the year of 2019 also counts with another relevant mark on my career - In February 2019 I have become a member of the Direction of the Informatic Section of Order Engineers North Region of Portugal.
